Tap into the Stillness of Nature

There is great healing available to us when we make contact with the earth. In our busy lives, many of us have lost touch with the peace that comes from unplugging, going outdoors, and being present to the beauty of nature. One of the best ways to ground or root ourselves is to find a "sit spot".  Find a place in your yard (if you have one), or perhaps go for a walk in a park or forest and allow yourself to wander. Notice where you feel drawn, and move toward it with awareness. When you find a spot that appeals to you, sit down and breathe deeply. Be fully present to your body and your surroundings, engaging all of your senses. Feel the healing that is available to you from this beautiful planet. Feel your stress melt away with each breath.
